New Holland is a town built around agriculture and the equipment plant, with a tight borough of brick homes and a surrounding township of farms, newer subdivisions and a lot of outbuildings. It is close enough to the shop that Fox Gables treats it as home territory. Roofs, siding, windows, decks and the occasional barn roof are the regular work here.
New Holland has several large exterior contractors in and around it. Homeowners call Fox Gables when they want the owner on the job, a plain price and no sales presentation.
Houses in New Holland and what they need
The borough's housing is brick rows and twins from around 1900 through the 1930s, with newer sections of ranches and Cape Cods from the post-war decades. Roof replacement, replacement windows and aluminum trim wrap are the common jobs; porch rebuilding comes up often on the older rows.
Earl and East Earl townships are a patchwork of farms and developments. Farmhouses need metal roofs and siding; the subdivisions from the 1990s onward need decks, porches, basement finishing and kitchen work.
